The Grivel G1 Crampon is a 10 point steel crampon suitable for glacial walking and easier grade assents. The Grivel New-Classic binding is a full strap on system (heel and toe) which means it will fit to any mountaineering boot with ease as well as more rigid trekking boots. Being steel they are very robust and in for the long haul. There’s not much of a weight penalty for that either coming in at a cool 740 grams per pair. 

If you’re looking at serious glacier crossings, some high passes or easier angle summits, then the Grivel G1 is right up your alley.
